Refunds & Subscription Policy

1. Subscriptions

Emberly Premium is a recurring subscription billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.

2. One-time purchases

Boosts, Super Likes, and Match Extends are one-time digital credits added to your account immediately after a successful payment. They do not expire and do not auto-renew.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Pricing page (Manage billing). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Premium access until then.

4. Upgrades and downgrades

  • Upgrade (e.g. Monthly → Yearly): takes effect immediately. You're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the period.
  • Downgrade: takes effect at the next renewal date. No partial refund is issued for the remaining period.

5. Refunds

Because Emberly delivers digital services and credits immediately, all sales are generally final. We will consider refunds in the following cases:

  • You were charged after cancelling — we'll refund the erroneous charge.
  • A duplicate charge occurred for the same purchase.
  • Required by consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction (for example, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal, where applicable and not waived by starting service immediately).

To request a refund, email billing@emberly.app within 14 days of the charge with the order details. We respond within 5 business days.

6. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries automatically for up to a week. We send email notifications during this window. If the payment still fails, your subscription is cancelled and Premium features end.

7. Free trials

Where offered, free trials convert into paid subscriptions automatically when the trial ends, unless you cancel beforehand. The conversion price is shown clearly at signup.

8. Account termination

If you delete your Emberly account, your subscription is cancelled at the end of the current period. Unused credits are forfeited and not refunded.

9. Taxes

Prices shown may exclude VAT/GST or sales tax depending on your region. Stripe calculates and collects applicable taxes at checkout.
